Anna Prohaska always conquers and beguiles with the extraordinary. Now the soprano joins forces with Emanuele Soavi’s award-winning Cologne dance company and the original sound ensemble lautten compagney BERLIN to create a fabulous performance.

Based on Claudio Monteverdi’s expressive “Lamento della ninfa”, Anna Prohaska and her artistic partners create a universe of femininity with vocal music from the early Baroque (featuring: the great Renaissance composer Barbara Strozzi!) to the present day. With song and dance, they tell of the emotional storms of a lover, torn between revolutionary power and emotional extremes, between archaic myth and the oppressive present.
