“The Day I Became A Cloud” is created at the invitation of the Goethe Institut Paris and the Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris. Choreographer Emanuele Soavi was commissioned to present a dance project as part of the European Heritage Days 2023. The performance and installation will also be shown at the Max Ernst Museum Brühl and adapted for the permanent collection there.
The production “The Day I Became A Cloud” as part of the series “Solo Like A Pig” is increasingly dedicated to the core theme that runs as a thread through the series: “Surviving and remaining visible” – individually and collectively, as an artist:in and as a human being – even beyond one’s own finiteness. Remembering oneself is one strategy for setting transformations in motion – and sharing experiences physically through common experience is another.
