If we can still wonder, if we can even admire, don’t we admire people who believe in something and thus give their lives meaning because they are convinced of something?

The images that determine our lives speak to us. What is hidden behind the pictures? Why do some of them trigger aggression? Who is afraid of red, yellow & blue?
“Form gangs” was a widespread slogan of the more radical feminism. Today it has become ” Tame Images”. Let us defend ourselves, let us confess to – red, yellow & blue!
In BILDERZERSTÖRER we trace motifs of “perpetrators of convicts” who attacked paintings in museums and thus found their way out of the art world into reality.

BILDERZERSTÖRER is the second part of bodytalk’s performance series NetzHaut, which questions the behavior of bodies in mass media contexts.
The focus is on precisely this interface “body/medium”, which we understand not only as a wound but also as a promise.
Modern media and digitalization provide a gain as well as a loss of reality. It is exactly in this interspace that we operate and it is there that we want to take the audience.

In the end, all that often remains is the dissonant triad of wonder – admiration – wound.
