There is the idea of work as inner growth: to realise and develop like a plant, to blossom. And there is the idea of work as inner depletion: exhausting oneself and mining oneself like a treasure, draining oneself of substance. Somewhere in between, five dancers train their bodies and try to do justice to their workload. They observe themselves and the world around them. They exhaust themselves and feed the exhaustion back into the recycling circuit. How does it feel when every failure must be an opportunity, every fall can seemingly remain without impact through a change of direction, and every private crisis should simultaneously be the material for a new art project? The logic of exploitation says: a good performance is as short a time as possible between input and output. The dancers join in or get out, they brace themselves or play along, they stutter and cough or repeat quotations from pop songs. A musical radio play from the inner mining of Artmann&Duvoisin.
