With this new production, Felix Bürkle puts his work “beckett, beer and cigarettes”, which has toured all over the world, on a new footing. The choreographer turns the perceptual screw and thinks further about the relationship between man and object: Why do things exist? Why is there something at all and not rather nothing? On stage: 983 bottles, 157 boxes, 4 chairs and 1 table as well as 3 young performers and the musician and composer Moritz Anthes. People, objects, dance, live music and new circus become entangled in a fantastic sensory illusion. In the truest sense of the word, a balancing act begins that changes the way we look at things – and at people.
