A choreographically staged trialogue about power, threat and their in-between worlds with dancers with and without physical characteristics from Germany, India and Turkey.

“inbetweenPOWER” artistically addresses the question of what influence feelings of fear and threat have on people in times of political and social change. The subjective feeling of fear and threat is different in every country. It depends concretely on the situation within the cultural context, be it, for example, the political system, tradition or even religious influence. The subjective feeling of personally experienced restriction and threat, as well as the fear of losing the independence and freedom of the individual, was the focus of the choreographic discussion.

InbetweeenPOWER is a production by DIN A 13 tanzcompany in cooperation with the Iranian choreographer Mehdi Farajpour and the video artist Jürgen Salzmann.
