Overhead Project // Programme Launch Circus Dance Festival
Despite the current pandemic development, the CircusDanceFestival will celebrate its premiere from 20-24 May 2021 with both a digital programme and – in the best case – a physically present audience on the outdoor festival grounds of the TPZAK in Cologne!
Planned highlights are the live programme on the outdoor 360° circular stage, the open-air cinema with ARTE film programme, live-streamed performances and documentaries on contemporary circus produced on behalf of the CircusDanceFestival. Furthermore, the presentation of the “Video/Creation-Lab” as part of the university cooperation between the Cologne Dance Academy ZZT and the Brussels Circus Academy ESAC, the live-streamed performances of the young talent programme “Junge Wilde” as well as the hybrid planned symposium “Re-Writing Circus” which will be streamed from the digital studio ZOOGARAGE.
